Novy Tabor No. 19, Munden, KS.
We observed JHD on May 3 at the Cuba City Library for Spring
Splash. Nine members, a few mothers, and grandmothers showed
20 children how to make flowers from tissue paper. Flowers
were completed with leaves, pipe cleaner, and a lace paper
doily that held the flowers together. The children will give
the flowers to their mothers for Mother’s Day. Sharon
Kalivoda and Ella and Sharon Moravek read stories about
spring and demonstrated the flower making. Each child was
given a bookmark made from greeting cards by Marcella
Dolezal. Everyone enjoyed treats and drinks. |
